Jenny Lewis’s Hair: Then and Now

Jenny Lewis c. 1989

Last night I got to enjoy The Wizard on HBO Family. An ex-boyfriend of mine raved about this awesomely-bad gamer flick and quoted it incessantly. After seeing it the first time a few years back, I actually quite enjoyed it, as I am a sucker for late-80’s/early-90’s movies, as well as for the original NES. It wasn’t until last night that I realized that Jenny Lewis’s hairstyle—in fact—has not changed since 1989.

For those of you who don’t know who Jenny Lewis is, she is a former child star (The Wizard, Troop Beverly Hills, etc) turned successful Indie musician with  Rilo Kiley and Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins. She has also recorded two solo albums and has contributed vocals for The Postal Service and Cursive. But I will quit name-dropping. All I know is that, through her 20+ years in show business, she may change, but her hairstyle will always remain the same.

[If you’ve never checked out any of her music, seriously do. She is incredible]

    What is your point?

Why would she? Her hair is awesome, then and now. The only 80s hairstyle that hasn’t dated badly.
