Thank Google for the Internet

If you’ve ever questioned whether or not there is higher being, think again… Think Google. Anything and everything you’d ever want and need is conveniently at your fingertips thanks to this gem of a search engine. Want to know about weird Google searches? Simply go to (or if you’re fortunate enough to have Mozilla or Safari, among other browsers with an already-embedded Google search in the toolbar, use that) and type in “weird google searches” to see what comes up. Scroll to the bottom of the results page and click on “interesting google searches” and meander around there for a while. Google and the Internet go hand in hand to provide infinite hours of entertainment for us all.

In addition to [and more importantly than] weird searches, Google can lead you to sites that are more than interesting; actually helpful: WebMD, Wikipedia, Merriam-Webster. I could go on for days, but I shan’t bore you.

Still have reservations? Two words: GOOGLE IMAGES. Still unsure? GOOGLE MAIL. Okay, okay, one more: GOOGLE CALENDAR. C’mon! There’s also Videos, Maps, Books… Et cetera! Do I even need to mention that it goes as far as changing its “logo” on the main page nearly every single day?

googleimageAnd Google is nondenominational. It does not discriminate and it allows you to search for anything you want. (Side note- what the Feds find in your Google search history is not for me to discuss.) There are other search engines, but let me get something out there: Yahoo! Search is the Scientology laughing stock of all religions search engines. Google is where it’s at. It has even become an action word!

No one says, “Oh, I went to and I put in “one stop (pop culture) shop” into the search toolbar.” He or she would say, “I googled the ‘greatest blog in all of mankind’ and on the seventh day one stop (pop culture) shop appeared!”

TGIF! (Thank Google it’s Friday!)
